Accounts Technician
About the Role:
Coatek are currently looking for an Accounts Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a growing business in our Gorey office. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated with very strong organisational skills. They will need to be able to work on an individual basis but also as part of the wider office team and have a dedication to achieving customer satisfaction in a very busy office environment.
Duties of the role will include;
PAYROLL
- Weekly run Thesaurus Software
- Journals
- Assisting staff with queries
REVENUE
- Preparation & submission of all relevant Returns Vat/Paye/CT via ROS online
ACCOUNTS
- Sage 50 Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Checking & inputting all invoices with emphasis on PO control, timely issuing of invoices to clients including RCT invoicing.
- Issuing Debtors Statements
- Monitoring & analysing of Accounts Data
- Recording of payment in & out.
- Following up with Client’s & Suppliers on account queries.
- Month End Reporting to Management – P&L , Balance Sheet & Cash flow,
- Weekly Bank Reconciliation.
- Year End processes & liaising with external accountants
ONLINE BANKING
- BOI system
MICROSOFT 365
- Excel & Outlook maintenance
ANNUAL INSURANCE RENEWAL
- Prep of required information for Broker
OTHER DUTIES
- Supporting Management with Grant application & submitting paperwork to relevant bodies
- Assisting Operations Team with scheduling admin
- Answering calls and other admin duties as required
Schedule:
- 9am – 5pm
- Monday to Friday
- In office position only
Experience:
- Accounting: 3+ years (Required)
- Customer Service (Desirable)
- CRM (Desirable)
